The latest addition to the Peacockes Hotel complex at Maam Cross in the heart of Connemara is Peckish at Peacockes, our new food truck. Serving all of your food truck favourites along with a few Connemara innovations of our own.

Kabo Café is a family run café by sisters Rosaleen and Aisling. Located in Letterfrack village, less than 5 minutes walk to Connemara National Park, Kabo Café is a small café that offers simple but great tasting, locally sourced food, delicious barista coffee, homemade cakes and treats and 100% Irish gifts available in our Síopa Kabo section. We also try our best to provide vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options. We believe in reducing our carbon footprint and when possible we try to provide environmentally friendly and compostable packaging.

Set up by local Franco Irish couple Chloe and Conor last august in the stunning village of Leenane, The Purple Door Cafe boasts the Best Barrista coffee around, serving fresh home baked cakes and treats along with wholesome Irish grub mixed with delicious French cuisine. They specialise in Crêpes and Gallettes, & homemade wraps Cycle friendly cafe, they’ll fuel your onward journey and fix any bike issues too. The new outdoor space has amazing views of the Killary Fjord where the kids can play safely.

Food is hugely important to us here. Our menu was created with two core values in mind; to use fresh seasonal locally sourced produce and to satisfy each customer with hearty, tasty, home cooked dishes. Even with fresh, modern twists, the menu retains the old favourites such as Fish & Chips and Fish Chowder as well as some exciting Lunch/Evening Specials. However, although Seafood is our speciality, our talented kitchen team can rustle up tasty alternatives such as Connemara Lamb dishes,  Beef  to produce the finest menu in a coastal yet mountainous area. All in all, The Ravi’s Bar & Restaurant is a great meeting point to enjoy some fresh Cocktails, a memorable locally crafted beer with some close friends alongside the beautiful view the Clifden harbour.

At restaurant darcy twelve, we use fresh ingredients from local Connemara suppliers. Our menu offers both contemporary and traditional dishes with a carefully selected wine list to complement every flavour. Located in the centre of the vibrant and picturesque coastal town of Clifden in Connemara, the restaurant is run by head chef Shane Regan and his family. Originally from Co. Roscommon, Shane opened restaurant darcy twelve in 2017. Growing up in a family hospitality business, he has always had a passion for food and loves cooking and experimenting with new dishes. Shane visits restaurants at home and around the world, taking inspiration from some of the best chefs of all cultures and cuisines.

The Woodfield Hotel is located in the heart of Clifden town, the capital of Connemara.
