This is a traditional stone built lodge, situated on an elevated site at the foot of the Twelve Bens Mountains in Glencoaghan Valley, Recess, Connemara. The valley is an area of outstanding natural beauty and is an ideal base for walking and for touring the Connemara region. The cottage boasts wonderful mountain and countryside views with nearby access to the mountain walks. A popular property for those looking for a peaceful retreat, couples, families and groups of friends. Local activities include walking, hill climbing, lake and river angling. Close to Derryclare Lough and Lough Inagh. The town of Clifden is a short drive away, as are many other activities and attractions such as beaches, Connemara National Park, Kylemore Abbey, pony trekking, sea angling, and much more.

3 Bedrooms – Sleeps 6. Bedroom 1 is a double room with en-suite bathroom and shower. Bedroom 2 and Bedroom 3 are twin bedrooms. The large living and dining room offer fantastic countryside and mountain views, wood burning stove, TV, leather sofas with ample seating. The kitchen is well equipped with all necessary equipment. The family bathroom includes bath with overhead shower. Cot available by request. The large garden has outdoor seating and offers panoramic views of the Twelve Bens Mountains and surrounding countryside. Pets Welcome. Electricity & Heating included.
