Cottage 176 – Roundstone

This is a quaint 2 bedroom traditional cottage, located on the beautiful Island of Inishnee, Roundstone. The island is accessible via a bridge. There are many awe inspiring views in the immediate area, from the coastline of the island, across the bay to Roundstone village. An official walking trail is located nearby, a wonderful way to explore the island. The cottage is full of character, and has been tastefully redecorated, while still keeping its traditional charm and character.

The cottage boasts a thoroughly relaxing and quiet seaside location, and is less than a 10 minute drive to Roundstone Village, 25 minute drive to Clifden town, and 60 minute drive to Galway City. An ideal location for artists, writers, and fishermen. There is also a jetty on the shoreline by the property if you wish to bring your boat.

Roundstone village provides lots of places to eat and drink and has ample shops which will supply you with everything you need for your self-catering holiday.

Local activities include fishing, hill walking, pony trekking, golf, boating and much more.

Facilities:

2 Bedrooms – Sleeps 4/5. Bedroom 1 a king size bedroom with wonderful sea views. Bedroom 2 sleeps 3 persons in bunks with a double on the bottom and a single on top.  The living and dining room has views of the ocean and is heated with a large wood burning stove, TV, comfortable sofas, and wonderful traditional pieces which bring out the true character of the cottage. The new kitchen is well equipped with all necessary equipment. The bathroom has an electric shower, toilet and sink. Outdoor seating is provided. A jetty is available to moor a boat.  This property may not be suitable for small children due to its proximity to the sea and shore line.

Fuel for stove provided. No pets. No smoking indoors.  Electricity and Oil Heating are charged on usage by meter reading and are payable directly to the owner prior to departure.
