This spacious property is situated at the edge of Lough Fee, located on the Connemara Loop between the Renvyle Peninsula and Leenane Village at the head of Killary Harbour. Ideal for groups, family and friends looking for a relaxing escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, while still being within a short drive of many activities and attractions. The property offers fantastic views of Lough Fee and the surrounding mountains and is just a short spin from the wonderful white sandy beaches with crystal clear waters at Glassilaun and Lettergesh. Kylemore Abbey, Killary Fjord, Connemara National Park and the Renvyle peninsula are all nearby and waiting to be explored. Fishing, Boat Trips, Pony Trekking, adventure, activities and attractions are all within easy reach. Tullycross and Tully are the nearest villages, and Leenane village is also just a short drive away. Letterfrack village is a 10 minute drive away and the larger town of Clifden is just a 20 minute drive.
Facilities:
4 Bedrooms – Sleeps 8/9. All bedrooms offer lake and mountain views. Bedroom 1 is a family room and offers a double bed and a single bed. Bedroom 2 is a double room. Bedroom 3 has twin beds and Bedroom 4 is a double room. The living room offers comfortable sofas and seating, a wood burning stove and sky TV. The well equipped kitchen has a solid fuel stove and all necessary appliances for a comfortable stay including washer, dryer, fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster and coffee maker. Adjacent to the kitchen is a separate dining room. The family bathroom room has electric shower, WC and sink and is located in the hallway, close to the bedrooms. A separate WC is located beside the shower room. The outdoor area is spacious and well presented with sloped lawned gardens and ample parking space for 4/5 cars. Outdoor furniture and BBQ are available. Guests have access to the shed for storage if required. A baby cot and high chair are both available. Electricity and heating costs are included in the rental price from June to September. Electricity and heating costs are extra by meter reading from 1 October to 31 May and payable directly to the owner prior to departure. Towels and linens are provided. Wi-fi is available via pay as you go credit which can be purchased at a shop/post office located nearby. Pets welcome by arrangement.
