A warm welcome and a healthy dose of hospitality awaits you at Kingstown House B&B, Bridge Street, Clifden, Connemara. Our bed and breakfast is located centre along the stunning Wild Atlantic Way, within the town centre of Clifden. We are the third house on the right, as you enter the town centre from the Galway or Westport Roads onto Bridge Street.
We are a traditional Irish home, whose origins date back to 1926. We have 6 en-suite rooms including 2-Triple Rooms and 1-Family Room which can comfortably accommodate up to 3 and 4 persons respectively. Our guests are welcome to use the sitting room where they can experience an open fireplace while they help themselves to a cup of tea or coffee.
Regina bakes brown bread scones for breakfast daily. Our jams and marmalade are also homemade, sourced mostly from the black currant, red currant, blackberry and gooseberry bushes in our back garden.
We will reserve and store bicycles for you, as Mannion’s Cycle is located right next store to us. We can also assist with hiking, golfing, fishing, and other outdoor activities available to you in the surrounding areas. Clifden is the Capital of Connemara so we are a ideal base to take in the picturesque and magical scenery and landscapes of Connemara.
Our goal is to provide each of our guests “a quality night’s stay – at a reasonable price.” So if you decide to stay with us – please let us know what we can do to assist and help you.
