Also on the Wild Atlantic Way, Ocean Villa Bed and Breakfast sits on the water’s edge overlooking Kingstown Bay. This authentic Irish B&B is located at the top of Kingstown Bay, one of the dozens of inlets on the jagged coast of Connemara where once these quiet, romantic bays were a haven for smugglers. The lounge area is large and comfortable with sea and mountain views and has a large open turf fire. Locally there is many activities to enjoy from walking or cycling the many quiet back roads. Anglers, adventures seekers and walkers welcome! Be sure to arrive in the daylight to best enjoy the views as you approach the property. Enjoy some fishing off the rock close to the property, pony trekking at Cleggan or some pitch and putt on the nearby course. The nearby Eyrephort beach is a pleasant to visit as is Clifden Castle. Kylemore Abbey is also a must during your stay here as is the pretty town of Clifden. There are some superb guided walks nearby which can be arranged.
