Trá an Dóilin can be found in an area of great natural beauty at Carraroe (An Ceathru Rua) in the heart of the Connemara Gaeltacht. The blue flag beach is noted for its very fine coral. An ideal spot for swimming, watersports, snorkelling and diving. The beach is lifeguard patrolled during the bathing season.There are public changing rooms and toliet facilities available at the beach.
