When the tide is closed, you will have time to explore Omey Island, its coastline, flora and fauna, its wildlife, and its beaches.  Located along the Wild Atlantic Way, the cottage and island are near to many activities and attractions, and the local towns and villages of Claddaghduff, Cleggan and Clifden, will provide you with all you need for your self-catering stay.  The property offers wonderful views of the ocean from almost every room, as well as views of the surrounding countryside. Ideal for families, friends, and groups. Local activities include pony trekking, kayaking, coasteering, hill walking, boat tours, golf, and many more. Enjoy a day trip by ferry to Inishbofin, which departs from the pier in nearby Cleggan village. Climb Diamond Hill at Connemara National Park and drive the Connemara Loop.
